With halloween upon us it seems appropriate that deadboy should bless the weekend with a mix and he has done exactly that, quite apt from the dj who got his name from making grime using samples from old zombie movies. With beats and bass from the ghoulish and ghostly variety he blends a mixture of genres through the one hour mix.

This is definatly one for the diary. The numbers label come to London bringing with them some of big names that are tearing up the alternative bass scene at the moment, including Hud Mo, Jamie xx and one of my favorites Deadboy.

Since the release of his 2009 debut single "Hyph mngo" back in 2009 Joy Orbison or Joy O as he is now called  has gone from strength to strength, not only showing how much of talented producer he is but how talented he is behind the decks particularly with his track selection. Along with his other big hit of this year "sicko cell" there are two tracks circualting that I can only hope are released sometime soon.
